Offering a super wide field of view along with an autofocus design, the MF 14mm f/2.8 RF from Samyang is a prime wide-angle lens for Canon RF-mount mirrorless cameras. Its relatively fast f/2.8 maximum aperture suits working in difficult lighting conditions, and its optical design incorporates three aspherical and two low dispersion elements to help reduce distortion and color fringing for improved clarity and sharpness. An Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied, as well as an integrated lens hood, to suppress flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, the lens' autofocus motor provides quick and precise focusing performance, and manual focus override is also available for more refined control.
The new MF 14mm F2.8 RF lens has a manual focus system with easy adjustments. You can find excellent sharpness even with the widest apertures. The 115.7˚ wide angle of view enables you to create exceptional images with a great feeling of depth and space from landscape to interiors and more.
With a 115.7˚ wide angle of view, the MF 14mm F2.8 RF produces images with a great feeling of depth and space from wide landscapes and interiors to astrophotography. The built-in petal-shaped lens hood effectively blocks unnecessary stray light and maximizes image quality.
The MF 14mm F2.8 RF contains - ASP, H-ASP, ED and HR lenses to adjust the course of light and deliver clean yet lively images to the sensor. Flare and ghosting effects are well controlled by Samyang's Ultra Multi Coating technology.
